Type to filter favorites. Choose an enabled engine using the mobile buttons or its shortcut followed by a space. Use arrow keys to select a result and Enter to open it. If no favorite matches, Enter uses the first enabled engine. Manage engines and shortcuts in search engines settings. Escape clears the search. Backspace in an empty field leaves engine mode.

Icons API

Enable providers and arrange them by priority. If an icon is missing, the next provider takes over.

Display

Initials mode keeps the letters visible. Icon APIs are still used to sample colors and results share the same cache.

Minimum icon resolution

Smaller images are skipped in favor of the next provider, then initials. Dimensions are checked after downloading, before resizing; provider-upscaled images cannot be detected. Results are cached for each resolution setting.

Default order: Vemetric, Google, then Favicon.im. Icon Horse is best for occasional use; browser caching does not guarantee quota savings. Missing icons use white initials on a colored background. Providers receive bookmark and search-engine domains. When needed, wsrv.nl receives the icon URL for color analysis and Google placeholder detection.
